Plantronics VistaPlus AP15

The Plantronics VistaPlus AP15 headset amplifier – or audio processor as Plantronics prefer – is the latest to come from the World’s leading headset manufacturer.
It’s sometimes quite hard to plough your way through Plantronics’ marketing speak, however, it’s clear that they’re pretty excited about the AP15.
The AP15 is clearly a unit that has a high level of technology which in turn provides excellent sound quality. It is targetted at call centres and business users, and as such, both quality and durability are essential factors.
VistaPlus AP15 features include ergonomic controls and Quick Disconnect™ which aids user productivity. The AP15 is for use with Plantronics corded headsets, and together, the AP15 ensures that the sound quality is significantly improved.
Call centre users also demand the highest audio sound clarity, which the AP15 delivers through it’s AudioIQ® DSP powered multiband compression functionality. In layman’s terms, this manages the noise and echo elements to the user.
The VistaPlus AP15 audio processor optimizes the audio quality of phone calls by compensating for poor signal quality, stabilising sound levels and managing background noise levels. Echo cancellation ensures superior sound, even on VoIP systems.
The only place we can find selling the VistaPlus AP15 in the UK is Nicomm.
Digital Camera and Camcorder Insurance
Camera Insurance
Your digital camera or camcorder is a valuable piece of equipment. It is probably the most expensive piece of electronic equipment that you will carry around with you, in your bag, pocket or on your shoulder. This makes it particularly vulnerable to theft or damage, especially when you are in a place that you are not very familiar with.
Digital cameras and camcorders are very personal items, holding information and images that are precious to the owner. Crime figures published in 2006 showed that there has been a 40% increase in crime rates for portable electronic equipment such as cameras and camcorders. Of course, protecting your digital device by keeping it out of sight and not leaving it unattended in a public place is important, but sometimes the unexpected occurs, whether it is theft, loss or damage to your equipment.
Many small electronic gadgets are easily broken, with external screens and buttons being vulnerable to knocks and breakages. This leaves you with the expense of replacing your device and this can be costly. By taking out insurance on your digital camera or camcorder you have peace of mind in the knowledge that if these problems occur, you will be protected against expensive replacement costs.

BT Stratus 1500

With so many different cordless phones on the market, many cordless phone manufacturers try to stand out with garish colours, and funky designs. This has led to some really bizarre looking phones, like this BT Mango.
Thankfully, the new BT Stratus 1500 is a very sleek and stylish looking cordless phone, and would suit even the most sophisticated of rooms.
See the image of the BT Stratus 1500 below.
What is a DECT Cordless Phone?
Well Dect actually stands for Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telephone and refers the signal sent to the cordless handset. This means that the BT Stratus 1500 has digital quality sound that gives excellent clarity, security, as well as range.
BT Stratus 1500 Review
Built into the BT Stratus 1500 is a digital answering machine to answer any missed calls. It has up to 12 minutes of recording time and is very simple to use as all the controls are on the base of the Stratus. There is also a very handy feature called remote access, this allows you to ring the phone and retrieve your messages when you’re out and about. So you know when a message has been left on the answering machine there is a message waiting indicator, and this also indicates how many messages there are as well.

Nintendo DSi Console Review

Potential of the Nintendo DSi Console
Gaming consoles have become very popular in the past few years. There have literally been millions of sales. Some recent numbers are that in the past 4 years, Nintendo have sold 7 million DS Lite’s and in the first 2 months in Japan they sold 1 million Nintendo DSi consoles. By any comparison, these are huge numbers.
We use these gaming consoles in various circumstances, such as while we travel on public transport to work and back, while we are travelling on planes and relaxing at home. Due to their extreme portable nature, we can literally take them anywhere, and some people do.
However, these gaming consoles are slowly moving away from their initial intentional use. This is inevitable. Look at what has become of mobile phones nowadays, as with the new smartphones they not only make calls, but also sms, connect through wifi to the internet, play music, take pictures, are personal organisers and have useful applications such as spreadsheets. This is the direction that gaming consoles are moving.

Laptop Insurance

What is Laptop Insurance
Nowadays most people use their computers and laptops on a daily basis, if not several times a day, for work and leisure purposes. We have come to rely on these items as pieces of equipment that we can use to keep in touch with people by email and MSN. We store so much important information on our laptops without a second thought. We ensure that we are safe from identity fraud online and yet many of us do not insure our laptops.
The very nature of the beast with a laptop is the fact that it is extremely portable, and with most of us keeping both work related documents and contacts as well as information relating to the home, we tend to take our laptops to and from work, or round to visit friends. We even take our laptops on holiday with us.
So the idea of taking out laptop insurance is not unreasonable. Even the Ministry of Defence has lost 300 laptops, so it can happen to any of us at any time. Just think of the hours that you spend using your laptop, then imagine life without out it and the expense incurred in replacing it without laptop insurance in place.

The SoundBlade iMT525 is designed to deliver full spectrum sound when listening to music on a Bluetooth A2DP enabled mobile phone. The speaker can alternatively be used to turn your mobile phone into a speaker phone removing the need for headset use and allowing voice activated dialing. The SoundBlade iMT525’s two speakers are enhanced with SRS Trubass technology which claims to deliver a bass rich sound, powerful enough to fill a medium sized room. The SoundBlade iMT525 also benefits from echo cancellation which is said to help keep the sound clear and crisp.
