Is the Samsung P2 really an alternative to the Apple iPod Nano? Well, in a word, yes! The Samsung P2 plays video, has a touch screen, bluetooth and a FM radio. But does it has the Nano’s gorgeous looks, sure does – see more images and a video of the Samsung P2 at the T3 website.
The P2 has a screen built for video, its bright, sharp and ideal for 16:9 Music videos and films. The Touchscreen interactive display makes the P2 very easy to use, and with a choice of 3 styles it puts the user in control of how they use their P2. Bluetooth 2.0 implemented allows 2 sets of headphones to be paired with the P2 with A2DP (advanced audio streaming) and AVRCP – remote control via Bluetooth. Sound quality is superb thanks to DNSE 2.0 so sound can be reproduced the way it was intended through sound personalization, user equalizer settings and bass extension features. The Samsung P2 is just 9.9mm thick but yet still manages to cram in loads of features. At around £130 for 8Gb, its an affordable alternative too. Want One?

This looks okay but to compete with the iPhone other MP3 manufacturers really need to add value to what people are paying for. It has to do something completely new, however the design is quite sleek and I’ve seen much worse!
