DECTsys 2200 Wireless Phone System Starter Kit
The problem with most telephone systems is not just that the equipment is very expensive but also installation can be just as expensive again. To combat this a company called DECTsys have come up with a brilliant solution called the DECTsys 2200 Cordless 2 Line Telephone System.
As the DECTsys 2200 is a completely cordless telephone system there is no need for expensive cabling and engineers time. To install you simply plug the DECTsys 2200 2 line cordless system into a power socket and then into the telephone lines, just like a normal cordless phone.

Each telephone on the DECTsys 2200 system then has the ability to pick up calls on both lines, make internal calls to other DECTsys handsets, and transfer a call to another DECTsys phone on the system.

Nokia N82 Mobile Phone

Nokia introduce the new N82 Phone
The Nokia N82, in some ways is similiar to other new high spec mobile phones, in that it has a camera, a MP3 player and can browse the internet. However, consumers needs are now beyond the basic functionality and our demands are now for faster devices. So, does the N82 satisfy or disappoint?
Nokia N82 Camera Phone
Nokia have launched this camera phone under the belief that it is optimised for the photography enthusiast. A strong claim, and speaking as a photographer, I wouldn’t take photographs with this phone - but then again, I don’t take photographs with any mobile phone. As far as I’m concerned, that’s what my Digital Camera is for.
However, for the millions of people who do, the Nokia N82 is a very capable camera phone. It has a 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss Tessar lens that deliver a resolution of up to 2592 x 1944 pixels which will give you poster size quality. The MPEG-4 VGA video capture delivers up to 30 frames per second. Five megapixels is certainly pushing the upper limits on a mobile phone but the Nokia N82 isn’t the only 5 megapixels camera, see the Samsung G600.
Lights, Camera, Action
The Nokia N82 enables direct connection to a compatible TV via a TV-out wireless LAN. It also features video sharing support using WCDMA network services. Following the increased popularity of social networking websites, the N82 allows one-click upload of photos & videos to the web.
Using Nokia XpressPrint, users can print direct via a USB connection (PictBridge), a Bluetooth connection (BPP), WLAN (UPnP) or via online printing. The 2GB microSD memory card allows storage of up to 900 high resolution photos or up to 84 minutes of high quality video.
Nokia N82 Music Phone
The N82 supports MP3 and features an integrated stereo hands-free speaker for music. It also has a stereo FM radio. The almost mandatory Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology is also available.
Nokia N82 Internet Phone
The Nokia N82 enables you to explore the web whilst on the move thanks to its wireless broadband connectivity. Personal navigation is possible using Nokia Maps with the pre-installed A-GPS. With access to more than 15 million points of interest, users can identify and find the most appropriate locations, such as bars or restaurants. You are also able to send map snippets & routes to other people by MMS. The Nokia N82 comes with an orientation sensor that rotates the user interface automatically between horizontal and portrait mode.

Motorola Razr2 V8 - Return of the King

The second album is very rarely better than the first. And so it seems is true for Motorola mobile phones. For years they’ve been trying to find a replacement for the RAZR V3 and have fallen short - until now. The Motorola RAZR2 V8 is familiar yet sufficiently different to catch the eye, especially when you notice the new features. The RAZR2 V8 is the first phone to use a touch screen that gives physical feedback. As you touch the screen it vibrates giving you noticeable confirmation that you’ve actually touched something. The V8 is a sleek camera phone that’s strong, sophisticated and stylish. The familiar slim flip open design is now less than 12mm deep, yet it’s tough as well thanks to a stainless steel frame and toughened glass screen.
If you’re looking for music, the Motorola RAZR2 V8 is ready to oblige. It’ll work with Windows Media Player on your PC and is compatible with A2DP stereo Bluetooth equipment. There are touch-sensitive controls on the large external display, so you won’t need to open the phone when you’re selecting tracks, and there’s plenty of built-in memory for storage.
The Motorola V8 also has a proper web browser for news and information. It’ll even handle email and blogging alongside texts and picture messages.
The RAZR2 V8 does everything you’d expect from Motorola and more, but it’s the sleek looks that really sets the RAZR2 V8 apart from the rest. Want One?

- music player
- web browser

Samsung G600 - Is this the best five megapixel camera ever?
The Samsung G600 is a beautiful looking camera phone. It’s incredibly slim for such a high-spec phone. Barely any size difference to the Samsung U600 but with a whopping two megapixels more. The G600 has autofocus, a flash and a 4x digital zoom too. Couple this with Bluetooth, an MP3 Player and Quadband capabilities and it’s pretty certain that Samsung are aiming to take on the Nokia N95 and the Sony Ericsson K850i with this one. The Samsung G600 is available Free with contract at Phones Direct 247
