Sony Reader PRS-700BC Review
The Sony Reader PRS-700 or 700BC, is the latest eBook reader from Sony following on from the Sony Reader PRS-505.
The PRS-700 boast a 6 inch touch screen display that uses the now familiar E Ink® technology which makes it easier to read, even in bright-light situations.
Like the PRS-505, the PRS-700 has an interactive touch screen that lets you turn pages electronically. The PRS-700 is slightly faster than the 505.
This eBook reader is ideal for travellers as it stores approximately 350 digital books. A built-in LED reading light gives you the ability to read at night or other low-light situations without bothering others around you. Perfect for trains or planes.
The PRS-700BC Reader offers a unique, on-the-go reading experience and is the perfect travel companion. Measuring 0.4 inches and weighing just 10 ounces, the Sony Reader is more compact and lightweight than many paperbacks.
Long battery life: While most portable electronics lose power after only a few hours, the PRS-700BC Reader lets you turn up to 7,500 continuous pages on a single charge.
The 700 Reader gives you the freedom to leave your paperbacks at home – all of them. The PRS-700 memory holds around 350 paperbacks.
