The Nintendo Wii has become a very popular game system because it allows the entire body to get into the action, and exercise is something that used to be lacking with all other game systems.
With the Wii remote controller, a person can play sports and it feels just like the real thing.
Bowling, tennis and golf are only some of the sports options which feel real. The Wii also allows competition between kids, and adults, who are not even in the same house.

This lack of exercise increases health problems and obesity in many children in westernized countries who choose to play video games regularly.
Nintendo Wii is a revolutionary game system that encourages a healthy lifestyle for children and adults, as well. Many parents are choosing Nintendo Wii for their children because of the health benefits and because of the family oriented games that are available for sale.
Many family movies, such as the movie The Golden Compass, have opted to create games for the Wii, this makes wholesome, family fun a fun thing to do for children, rather than some of the adult geared games for some of the other systems available to consumers.
With the available options, parents are choosing the Wii for the price as well, in comparison to the new game systems that are available now, the Wii is much less expensive than those released in the last year. The games for the Wii are also less expensive than those for the other systems recently released, too.
