Solar Panels

A solar panel is made up of a series of solar cells, also called a photovoltaic cell. These cells are a solid state device that converts sunlight, or rather the energy generated by our sun, directly into electricity using the photovoltaic effect.

The combination of these solar cells are used to make solar panels. The energy generated from these solar panels, referred to as solar power, is an example of solar energy.

Photovoltaics is the field of technology and research related to the practical application of photovoltaic cells in producing electricity from light, though it is often used specifically to refer to the generation of electricity from sunlight.

Global First Solar are Solar Panel Installers London and are specialists in this field.
