Pioneer Plasma TV Kuro PDP-5080XD - Size Isn’t Everything!

It’s true, apparently, size isn’t everything. The truth, if Pioneer, are to be believed, is that Black is more important! And boy does the new Pioneer Kuro PDP-5080XD prove the point. Even if you’re not looking to buy one, go and have a look at this fantastic new plasma. The Kuro is a 50-inch plasma with Digital DVB-T Tuner and more than ten years of design, research and development packed into it.
Pioneer’s aim when designing the Kuro PDP-5080XD was to build a flat screen television that let’s you see and hear movies like never before, to be specific, they said - “to build a screen that delivered the absolute best picture quality in the world.” Now that’s some ambition but I must say they’re probably not far from delivering it! The Kuro delivers deeper black levels than any other flat-screen TV on the market, by a massive 80% deeper. Deeper black levels produce sharper colours. The Kuro allows you to see every shade between black and white and thus delivers awesome picture quality. Combine this with Pioneer speakers and you gets a fantastic experience.
The Kuro PDP-5080XD has an integrated digital DVB-T tuner with a CI Slot which means that you don’t require an additional decoder box, everything is integrated in one body. The Kuro is also available with an integrated analogue turner or alternatively in a 42-inch version.
Kuro by the way is Japanese for Black .. Want One?.
